THE SHORTEST WAY FROM SWITZERLAND TO YOUR GARAGE
GOTHARDMOTOR
We find, inspect and import vehicles from the Swiss market. With the total cost fixed before you pay anything.
THE ONLY PROMISE THAT MATTERS
The final figure, guaranteed, before you pay anything
Importing a car from Switzerland works or fails on one thing: whether you know what you will actually pay. You get the full breakdown — duty, VAT, registration tax, transport and our fee — before you commit to anything.
Where would you like to start
Each door leads to a part of the process. If this is your first time, start with the number: it decides everything else.

THE METHOD
Six steps, and you always know where you are
Every step has an owner and a deadline. You always see which one your car is at.
Search
You tell us what you want and we look for it on the Swiss market, including the professional fleet and lease-return platforms that are not open to the public. If the right car does not turn up, we say so — we do not hand you whatever happens to be available.
Inspection
Ismael examines it in person, in Switzerland, before a single euro is committed. You get video of the underside, the engine and every defect, along with the service book and the Swiss technical inspection report.
Customs and EUR.1
Switzerland is not in the European Union, so the car has to be cleared through customs. We handle the export and the proof of origin stamped on the way out — that is what removes the 10 % duty on cars built in the EU.
Transport
On a car transporter, never driven. The car arrives with the mileage you saw on the listing, with no added wear and no risk of an incident over 1,900 kilometres.
Inspection and registration
Type approval using the European certificate, import roadworthiness test, registration tax and the traffic authority. The paperwork is ours; you sign.
Delivery
Registered, on Spanish plates, with the technical sheet and every document in your hand. Wherever you say.
Why Switzerland
Strict servicing backed by a mandatory technical inspection, a single owner in most cases, generous factory equipment and service books stamped on schedule. Not cheaper for its own sake: a better car for the same money — you just have to know which one.
Mandatory, strict servicing
The Swiss technical inspection is tougher than its Spanish equivalent and service books are stamped on schedule. A ten-year-old Swiss car is often in better shape than a five-year-old Spanish one.
Generous factory equipment
Swiss buyers specify their cars well. The same model and year carries options that were expensive extras in Spain, and that is not reflected proportionally in the official valuation.
One owner, careful use
Short distances, garaged, replaced early. It is a market that sells cars in good condition because it changes them sooner.
All-wheel drive, scarce in Spain
It is a mountain country: there is plenty of four-wheel drive and plenty of winter-package versions that are hard to find here.
