The car travels by truck, it does not get driven
It arrives with the mileage you saw on the listing.
Some people drive the cars back because it is cheaper. We do not, for three specific reasons.
First, it is 1,800 to 2,100 kilometres added to the odometer of the car you have just bought, destroying part of what you paid for. Second, the risk: an incident on that journey, in a car not yet registered or insured in Spain, is very hard to resolve. Third, the real wear of that trip — brakes, tyres, oil — is invisible but real.
The transporter costs between 600 and 900 euros per car, less on a shared load, and it appears in the breakdown you see from day one.
